Good coffee comes from small, deliberate changes. Shot keeps the loop short so you actually run it.

  1. Brew

    Run the timer with your dose, water and temperature in front of you

  2. Rate

    Tap how it tasted, from Bad to Great, and mark it sour, balanced or bitter

  3. Improve

    Get one concrete change to try: finer grind, hotter water, a shorter steep

  4. Repeat

    Start the next brew from your last settings and change just one thing

Your coffee log is yours

Shot has no account and no ads. Your brews are stored on your iPhone and synced through your own iCloud, which we can’t read. Read the privacy policy.

Is Shot free?

Shot is free during the beta. The core brewing tools are meant to stay free, with an optional Pro plan for extras later.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Shot is built for iPhone first, and Android depends on how the beta goes.

Do I need a coffee scale?

No. You can enter weights by hand. Support for Bluetooth scales is planned.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud.

Which iPhones does it support?

iPhones running iOS 17 or later.

How does the beta work?

Join with your email. We send an invite to install Shot through Apple’s TestFlight app, and you can send feedback from inside it.
